Quick answers
Formats, pricing, what happens to your files, and what to do when a run fails.
Getting started
How do I turn an image into a 3D model?
Upload a JPG, PNG or WebP on the converter page, pick an engine, and press generate. A textured mesh comes back in about ninety seconds and lands in your library, so you can close the tab while it runs.
What makes a good input image?
One subject, clearly separated from the background, at the highest resolution you have. The engines do their own background removal, but a clean input gives a cleaner mesh. Photographs of a single object work best; busy scenes with several objects do not, because the model has to guess which one you meant.
Do I need a GPU or any software installed?
No. Everything runs on hosted infrastructure and comes back to your browser. There is no local Python, no CUDA, and nothing to install.
Can I generate a 3D model from text instead of an image?
Yes. Describe what you want on the text-to-3D page and the same pipeline produces a mesh. It costs the same as a Studio image generation.
How long does a generation take?
Around ninety seconds for a Studio render, measured across a hundred real generations rather than quoted from a marketing page. Fast returns sooner. The job runs in the background either way, so you do not have to sit and watch it.
Formats and compatibility
What file formats can I export?
GLB, OBJ, FBX, STL and USDZ, all included on every plan. There is no format behind a higher tier and no watermark on any of them.
Will the models work in Unity, Unreal or Blender?
Yes. GLB and FBX import directly into Unity, Unreal, Blender, Godot, 3ds Max and Maya. FBX is usually the right choice for a game engine because it carries the rig; GLB is the better one for the web and for previewing.
Can I 3D print what I generate?
STL is what most slicers expect, and it is one of the export options. Bear in mind that a generated mesh is built to look right rather than to be watertight, so check it in your slicer before committing filament to it.
Do I get PBR texture maps, or just a baked texture?
Both. The mesh arrives textured, and you can download the maps separately as a zip: base colour, normal, metallic-roughness, ambient occlusion and emissive.
Can I get quad topology instead of triangles?
Yes, with a one-click remesh. Quads are what you want if the model is going to be sculpted, subdivided or animated by hand afterwards.
Rigging and animation
Can the models be rigged and animated?
Humanoid meshes can be rigged automatically, and then driven by any motion in the library. The rig is a standard skeleton, so the result animates in an engine the same way a hand-rigged character would.
How many animations are there?
A hundred motions in the library, eleven of them available on the free tier. Each has a preview you can watch before spending anything on it.
What happens with a model that is not humanoid?
Auto-rigging targets humanoid skeletons, so a chair or a rock will be refused rather than rigged badly. The tokens are not spent when that happens.
Billing and tokens
How are tokens calculated?
Fast costs 1 token, Studio 4. Quality multiplies that: standard ×1, high ×1.5 for HD textures, ultra ×2 for HD textures plus detailed geometry. The multipliers follow what the render costs us, which is why there is no half-price draft tier · it asked the engine for exactly what standard asks for.
Do unused tokens expire?
Subscription tokens reset monthly. Tokens from a top-up pack never expire.
What happens if a generation fails?
The tokens are refunded automatically once the job has failed for good, without you having to ask. That is a ledger entry you can see, not a support decision.
Is there a free tier?
Yes. Signing up credits 6 tokens with no card required, and the Fast engine costs one token per generation · so that is 6 models before you have paid anything. Every export format is included and there is no watermark on any of them.
Do you charge in euros?
Yes, everything is priced and billed in EUR, with VAT handled at the checkout. No currency conversion and no surprise on the card statement.
Can I cancel a subscription at any time?
Yes, from the billing page, and access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. There is no notice period and no clawback of tokens you already have.
Privacy and data
Where is my data stored?
Account data, uploads and generated meshes live in EU object storage. Generation itself runs at a specialist GPU provider outside the EU, so an image is transferred there for the length of the request under the standard contractual clauses. The privacy policy says exactly that, in the same words.
Are you GDPR compliant?
We are an EU company, EU-hosted, and you can export or delete everything from your profile without asking anyone. Deletion is immediate rather than a support ticket.
Do you train AI models on what I upload?
No. Not on uploads, not on outputs, and our generation provider is contractually bound not to either.
How long do you keep my files?
On a free account, generated meshes are removed 90 days after they were made, with 14 days of notice first. The model, its prompt and its thumbnail stay in your library · only the files go. While you have a subscription, nothing is removed.
Do I own what I generate?
Yes. You own the meshes, commercially, with no watermark and no revenue share. We keep no claim on anything you make.
Compared with other tools
What makes this different from the other image-to-3D tools?
Three things that are true rather than positioning: the whole pipeline is here, so a mesh can be rigged, animated, retextured and remeshed without exporting to a second product; every export format is included on every plan; and it is an EU company with EU storage, billed in euros, which most of this category is not.
Is there a watermark on the free tier?
No. There is no watermark on any tier, and no format held back for a higher plan.
Do you have an API?
A REST API is available to subscribers. It covers generation, rigging, retexturing and the animation library, with scoped keys and a spending cap per key so a runaway script cannot empty an account.
